Jean-Luc Cooke
Chief Executive Officer, CertainKey
J-L brings to CertainKey a deep knowledge of algorithms and number theory, with particular emphasis on encryption. He embodies expertise gained from his work at Entrust Technologies, Nortel, and Banyan, as well as his work in the open source community, particularly in porting Linux to the ARM processor (in collaboration with RedHat software and Corel). J-L is a graduate of Computer Systems Engineering at Carleton University, where he developed wavelet-based image compression algorithms under Dr. Delphine Rossille and served as senior administrator on the Carleton EngSoc Project and as Technical Director of the Carleton Student Engineering Society. He has published several papers and regularly attends and delivers briefings at international conferences.
Paul Faure
Chief Technical Officer, CertainKey
Paul brings to CertainKey specialized hardware knowledge and experience in high-speed optical networks. Having developed database applications for such customers as the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, and having worked with such companies as Nortel and Bloom Microtech, Paul offers a broad knowledge of networking needs and a keen understanding of the traffic and applications that run on such networks.
