Features

• Key derived from password using SHA-256 truncated to 128 bits
• Plaintext is encrypted using 128 bit AES encryption in CTR cipher mode
• Optional initialization vector of 32, 64, 96 or 128 bits can be used. Among other reasons, this ensures the same message is not encrypted to the same ciphertext.
• Optional message authentication codes of 32, 64, 96 or 128 bits can be used. This ensures that message integrity is preserved.
